They're Looking For You ~ List of Organizations To Help Locally

STAND.... with others and get involved on a personal level with an organization that fits your passions and desires to help!

I have compiled a list of organizations that might prove helpful in finding a home for your volunteer efforts. I have separated them by cause although let's be honest, one cause affects all causes so all are important. I highly recommend checking out the organization FB page (if applicable) for info about upcoming events and how to get involved. Most organizations also have volunteer resources on their website - both FB page and website are listed. It's always a good idea to ask around and a great way to network with fellow Lion-Hearted activists!

Side Note: If you are part of an organization, non-profit or coalition and do not see your name on the list, please feel free to email me at: hersh.kristin303@gmail.com and I will put you on the list to help match volunteers with your organization!

GET INVOLVED | STAND! | VOLUNTEER | RESIST!

Here are the organizations I have added to my meek list - this is meant to serve as a resource but is in NO WAY a comprehensive representation of all of the wonderful organizations and groups that are out there Speaking Truth to Power. I will continue to update the list so check back but know that there are **many** organizations... and if none of these get your blood pumping, let me know, I'll help you find a place!

WOMEN'S RIGHTS:

With a president who could not keep with the tradition of doing something to help others in honor of MLK Jr. Day, it's more crucial than ever that we step up and show the world and our fellow Americans that America does care; Show that America does help others in need and that when we miss the mark, we miss badly, yet when we do hit the mark, we can do a lot of good.
